The Program Plan

Edgar Cayce Canada sponsors a nationwide book donation program, interacting with prison facilities across Canada. Our long-term objective is to extend this outreach program to approximately 80 potential participating facilities across the country, ranging from youth detention centres to maximum security prisons.

How Does it Work?

Representatives of each facility are individually approached with an explanation of the book donation service and asked if they would be willing to accept books based on the Cayce philosophy. If a verbal agreement is reached, a letter is sent out, along with an initial book donation package. Also included is a list of other available books on topics such as prayer, meditation, dreams, health and prophecy.

Each prison may select up to three new books per year. The initial book donation package consists of:

  • There Is A River, by Thomas Sugrue — the biography of Edgar Cayce’s life and work
  • Your Life, And What You Can Do About It, by Bruce MacArthur — A self-help book explaining the Universal Laws such as “Like Begets Like”, “Cause and Effect”, etc.
  • Discover Your Soul’s Purpose, by Mark Thurston — a guide to discovering one’s self within the context of understanding who we are and why we are here

How Can You Participate?

  • Include this very important program in your personal prayer life.
  • Make a financial contribution to Edgar Cayce Canada. This will help us continue to provide a key service to this very special group of souls.
