Holistic Health Information

Edgar Cayce gave in excess of 14,000 documented readings over the course of about 40  years until his passing in 1945. Of those, approximately 9600 are labelled, “physical” readings. These were given for individuals suffering from some type of illness of almost any variety. Many thousands followed the information in the readings and were healed as a consequence.

In recent years, in an attempt to make wider use of the information contained in the readings the A.R.E. created the Health and Rejuvenation Center (HRC). This Center, in cooperation with the Meridian Institute, has developed a series of “research protocols and treatment plans” based on the information in the readings. These research protocols are available from the HRC. In addition, the Meridian Institute has conducted a number of pilot projects utilizing these protocols. They have reported on the results in a number of ways but one of which is on their website, meridianinstitute.com. Extracts from their websites are reproduced below.

Individual Research Protocols and Treatment Plans

Regarded by many as the father of modern holistic medicine, Edgar Cayce provided a vast amount of information on the physical, mental and spiritual dimensions of health and healing.
In cooperation with Meridian Institute, a non profit organization dedicated to researching the Edgar Cayce health information, the Health and Rejuvenation Center (HRC) has conducted basic and applied research in the following areas:

Basic Research

Current and past projects in basic research include:

Group Pilot Studies

HRC and Meridian Institute have conducted several small group pilot studies to look at the efficacy of the Cayce approach in combination with the group dynamics of a ten day conference focusing on a specific illness. Thus far, we have researched this model with regard to psoriasis, migraine, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinsons’s disease, asthma and chronic fatigue syndrome.
