Humanity and the planet are experiencing many profound changes, and even more profound changes are coming. Many prophecies point to our current time as one of major change — from 534 B.C., when the angel Gabriel first told the prophet Daniel there is a time set for the end of this age, to the Edgar Cayce statement that now is the time which the Archangel Gabriel spoke of, to the Mayan prophecies of 2012 and the end of time. Our planet will change. Our bodies will change. The people of the earth will be changed. A new world is going to begin, transforming us for the long awaited new age.

John Van Auken, author and researcher of such prophecies, will present an in-depth look at what has been predicted for our times and why change must occur. His presentation will include the prophecies of the Bible, the Archangel Gabriel, Jesus, the Book of Revelation, Ancient Egypt, Nostradamus, Mary, the mother of Jesus, and the modern seer, Edgar Cayce. He will explore the Mayan prophecies for 2012 and the meaning of this important date to our spiritual destiny. John will also use star maps, indicating the movement of the sun through the ages and where it is now. He will present metaphysical changes of the planet and our bodies, social and political changes in many nations, and religious changes that will yield a new worldview of life’s purpose and God’s role for us. He will also address the latest issues among Jews, Christians, and Muslims, as well as the future of the major religions.

Despite the magnitude of some of the changes John will be discussing, he presents a very positive approach, following the spirit of Jesus’ analogy that the changes are simply the “birth pains” of a new age of enlightenment, global community, closer harmony with nature, and a more cosmic consciousness of Universal Forces.

The Canadian Youth Conference

Edgar Cayce Canada’s fourth Youth Conference was held this past May, concurrently with the 2011 Canadian Fellowship Conference. Each year this event provides an opportunity for young people from ages 11-18 to meet with like minds of similar ages. During the weekend, programming includes dream work, an introduction to meditation, games, nature time, and much more. The group also spends time with ECC members and workshop presenters. Activities all take place at St. Lawrence College, Kingston. More information can be found on the Youth Program page as it becomes available.

Laughter Yoga with Pierre Beaudoin

Laughing is one of the best natural “medicines” known. It helps us rediscover the heart of our inner child! Laughing activates many healing systems of the body and is good for the immune, cardiac, respiratory and digestive systems. This workshop will cover the history and objectives of Laughter Yoga and will provide you with the opportunity to experiment with some of the laughter yoga exercises. Pierre has been a student of the Cayce material for over 30 years; for the last five years he has been involved in laughter yoga activities and he is currently animator of the Sherbrooke (Québec) Laughter Club.

Knowing Your Past Lives: Playing with a Full Deck with Robyn Marie Butt

Living without knowledge of your relevant past lives is like trying to play cards with half a deck. Edgar Cayce’s “life readings” included past life content assessed for its overall soul value and interpreted for its present relevance. Robyn is an experienced past life reader in a similar vein. This is a workshop for serious thinkers, who are sure to find it challenging and stimulating. Edgar Cayce said in reading 3902, “The essence and purpose of all universal laws and the reason for their existence is to manifest the infinite love of the Universe to you and to me.” Cayce went on, over many other readings, to sketch out a set of universal laws of cause and effect which contain the basic principles of manifestation. This workshop integrates the Cayce material with material from A Course In Miracles and other sources in order to help us improve our ability to manifest, thus accelerating us on our spiritual journey.

Our Inner World: A Look “Behind the Scenes” with Allen Conrad

Edgar Cayce provided an incredible body of pragmatic, insightful material which has proven to be singularly valuable for our personal spiritual development; however, he was never really asked to provide a treatise on the inner workings of the soul, spirit and manifestation process. This workshop explores channelled material mainly from Seth (channelled by Jane Roberts), Lazaris (channelled by Jach Pursel) and the Transcendors (channelled by Rik Thurston) which have led to a new interpretation of the Qabalah, and which provides a useful perspective on our Inner World. Al has worked with the Cayce material since the early 80s, and this workshop is packed with challenging material intended to provoke serious reflection and discussion!

Elles has been practicing automatic writing since 2009, following the death of a loved one. In this workshop she will share from her own experience, presenting examples of the automatic writings she has received: messages of love, comfort and spiritual guidance. “Psychic Butterfly Art” is a transformational tool in which, after you share a sacred meditation time together, Reverend Bob and his sidekick Peter Kendall ask you to select a variety of paints. The colours one chooses usually represent a deeper aspect of self, and are relevant at both the known and unknown levels of consciousness. When your Butterfly (or Animal as sometimes may be the case) is completed, it becomes a reference for recalling the sacred path you are on. If you attended this workshop in a previous year, Bob is asking that you bring the butterfly that you created then to the workshop this year so we might see a comparison to this year’s work.

Dreaming of the Future with Edgar Cayce with Thomson Lawrie

The Cayce readings contain over 700 dream interpretations, many of which were for precognitive dreams. This workshop aims to uncover clues from your own dreams to separate dreams of attitudes, emotions and inner growth from intuitive, precognitive dreams. Using examples of dreams from the Cayce readings, participants will compare their own dreams to the Cayce interpretations as we seek to uncover their precognitive potential through a series of questions. Bring two or three dreams which you can work with, including at least one “garden variety” dream to which you can apply the Cayce principles. We'll end with a short meditation accompanied by shamanic drumming, in which dreamers will return to their dream to ask questions of its symbols.

The Automatic Drawing of Alma Rumball with Wendy Oke

At age 50, following a vision of Jesus, Alma became a clairvoyant recluse, creating prolific, intricate, coloured pen and ink drawings. She watched, as “The Hand” drew — by itself — unfamiliar forms, faces and characters, separate from her own consciousness. Tibetan gods, Joan of Arc figures and tales of Atlantis revealed themselves. The documentary film, The Alma Drawings, won a Best Direction award at the Toronto Hot Docs Film Festival in 2005. Wendy has studied at A.R.E. and makes more comparisons between the Cayce and Rumball Atlantean material. Powerpoint images from unprinted drawings reveal visual renderings of Atlantean concepts, and Alma’s written description of Atlantis adds to Edgar Cayce’s.

The Sacred Language of Light with Wendy Oke

Alma Rumball’s channeled drawings have been identified as “the Sacred Language of Light, activation drawings, with codes embedded in them, for the elevation of humanity at this time” (Ascended Masters). This workshop will deal with Cayce’s readings regarding Light, as well as the Healing Set from Alma’s Atlantean Series. Experiments are being done with a BioPhoton therapy machine, using the same images, measuring effects before and after treatments. The “Source” or “Voice” of this set is the Christ energy, according to Alma, and an important link between Jesus (Christ) and Atlantis has been found in the Cayce readings.
